Alternatively, full operational control can be granted either remotely via telemetry or directly in the field via a computer with appropriate software. Easy to use menus allow configuration flexibility. Preloaded setup files reduce confusion and operator errors. Collected data is held secure from unintentional erasure or loss.

ADR-3000 Plus Traffic Counter/Classifier

The Peek ADR-3000 Plus is a modular multilane vehicular traffic counter/ classifier that can be set up and operated either remotely via telemetry or directly in the field via a computer with appropriate software. The optional front panel mounted keypad and display provides autonomous local control. Setup and operational performance of the Peek ADR- 3000 Plus is enhanced for simple and reliable field traffic data collection. Easy to use menus allow configuration flexibility. Optional setup files are available which help reduce confusion and operator errors. Collected data is held secure from unintentional erasure or loss.

ADR-6000 Automatic Data Recorder

The ADR-6000 is a modular single or multilane data collection system that offers accurate vehicle count and axle based classification in traffic conditions ranging from free flow to stop and go congestion. The classification scheme used is configurable based on any features extracted by the ADR-6000. These features include vehicle length, speed, or number and spacing of axles.
The ADR-6000 can be set up and operated by remote telemetry or directly in the field with a computer using simple communications software. The remote telemetry link can be via modem or direct connection and can be simple ASCII transfer or protocol protected. If the ADR-6000 is part of a complex system, it will continue to operate as a standalone unit in the event of telemetry link failure.

ADR-6JR/RT Portable Road Tube

The ADR JR/RT traffic counter from Peek Traffic Corporation is a portable, self contained, battery operated vehicle counter consisting of a solid state air switch with a 16 x 2 character display and is powered by one six volt battery. The ADR-JR/RT is self contained in a weatherproof housing with a tamperproof latch and hinges. Units come completely assembled and ready for immediate use requiring the user to only connect a road-tube to the air switch. The ADR-JR/RT is designed and proven for vehicle volume counts for city streets, driveways, shopping malls, national parks, secondary highways and drive in or parking complexes anywhere a basic low cost traffic survey is needed.

LPM-33E Low Power Modem

The LPM-33 is easy to use and install. It comes equipped with an RS-232 serial interface that can be directly connected to the RS-232 port of most traffic recorders and traffic devices. Two RJ-11 jacks allow quick connection to the telephone circuit and a utility phone that can be used while the modem is inactive. Six front panel LEDs provide complete status information. When power is available to the LPM-33, the green “STBY” LED flashes. This indicates the modem is in low power standby mode. The LED will turn off when the modem receives DTE data or auto-answers an incoming call.
The LPM-33 conforms to the industry standard set of AT commands. Two user-defined profiles can be stored in non-volatile memory by connecting the communications port of a PC directly to the RS-232 connector of the LPM- 33 and using a communications program such as HyperTerminal®.
The LPM-33 is housed in a rugged aluminum case. In its standard configuration the LPM-33 is placed on a shelf or flat horizontal surface. It is equipped with four non-slip rubber feet.

TOPS Software for Traffic Operations Planning and ADR Data Management

User-friendly Windows-based software is essential for efficient operation of modern digital recording traffic counters and classifiers. TOPS fully supports your operations in a Windows 98, NT/2000 environments. This robust 32-bit application can operate on a stand-alone PC or in a network environment. All data transfer is handled in a fast binary format.
The TOPS program employs powerful database facilities while providing an incredibly easy-to-use interface for traffic data collection, editing, and reporting. TOPS processes any file created from a Peek ADR recorder and imports data from other equipment. The program displays reports produced from the data on-screen in spreadsheet format for editing and direct printing.

UNITRAK Video Detection Solution Version 2

UniTrak joins Peek Traffic’s family of video detection solutions as a cost-effective and accurate single-camera detection device designed as a replacement for traditional in-road inductive loop detectors. The UniTrak design is optimized to allow rapid installation as a form, fit and functional replacement to existing detector cards.
The UniTrak solution displays on site traffic scenes with visual verification of proper zone placement and proper vehicle detection. This also provides a flexible, easily modified configuration of as many as 26 detection zones. The card reduces high maintenance costs and inefficient intersection operations caused by the failure of traditional detection loops, which are buried in the road surface.

VDS Camera for the VideoTrak & UniTrak Detection System

Peek Traffic's VDS Camera is a rugged, high performance video camera designed to be used with the VideoTrak® & UnitrakTMDetection System. Combining high sensitivity in all lighting conditions with high resolution imagery, this camera is the perfect source to feed images into your VideoTrak® & UnitrakTM system's patented digital image processing algorithms.
Utilizing a 1/3-inch format CCD imager with a built-in infrared (IR) cut filter, the VDS Camera is fully automatic and easy to install in a variety of environments. Built-in intelligence allows the camera to adjust to all lighting conditions using its automatic high-speed electronic shutter. That, and the camera's industry-leading resolution, ensures that the VideoTrak® & UnitrakTMprocessors receive the highest quality images possible in all situations.
